SUPER LATE HOLIDAY CARDS PART 2

Yeah, I was so late with cards this year that I hand delivered most of them.

SUPER LATE HOLIDAY CARDS

p.s.: sorry for the bad quality on some of the cards.  Half of the time I forgot to take a picture of the card before I was about to give it away so I hastily took a picture before leaving my house

Adventure Time Cards

I made this Spawn card for my friend by request and I was able to give it to him when he recently came to visit from Georgia. He is also the proud owner of one of my Batman cards.
Generally, it can be tough to give a handmade card to the male population. These simplistic style cards make a great surprise for your male friends who you are giving a card to.
Of course these cards are for any gender!

A little something different this year for my niece’s 2nd birthday!
This style is a little time consuming but it’s totally worth it because there is a lot left over to make numerous cards with.
I bought the paper in a pack for a dollar at Walmart. So lucky for me the paper complimented each other due to the same patterns being in different colors.
I suggest using a glue stick instead of the traditional tape gun for this project because otherwise you get little flaps here and there when you cut them into tinier pieces.
I’ll most likely get more creative with this style as I practice with it more, but I think it was a successful first try!

A special thanks to my friend, Rachel, who inadvertently gave me a buttload of origami she made in a gift at a white elephant Christmas party! She brought a few boxes of thrown together goods and padded them all with her origami.

Then I took everybody else’s.

Another great example of using scraps to your advantage!

A Superman inspired card! I took inspiration from some minimal images and did my best!
This was a card for my boyfriend’s birthday and he absolutely loved it.

DISNEY VALENTINE’S DAY CARD

This was just an experiment, but I really liked the outcome.  The second image is the inside of the card and really creates the “love” atmosphere that we get during this holiday.

:D

VALENTINE’S DAY CARDS

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!

I love using these color combinations on cards and Valentine’s Day is my perfect excuse to get creative with the colors.
